If you're eyeing a break in this leafy part of Devon, you'll probably be interested in getting out into the surrounding country by bike or on foot (perhaps with a dog trotting along behind). All manner of hikes and two-wheeled jaunts can be organised here, whether you opt for riverside rambles or the footpaths that crisscross the countryside adjacent to the park.
Need a restorative tipple pre- and/or post-walk? Our friendly village pub may very well help you on your merry way… don't forget for children up to 12 years old there's our Miners Adventure Indoor Soft Play and outdoor play areas payable on site.
Campers are also free to visit our Victorian village plus can also upgrade to include a Mine Train Adventure at a special rate of only £7.50 extra per person.
