15th Century Inn
Historic Quayside Inn where seafaring Captains and crew once wined and dined whilst their tall ships were loaded with ores hued from the mines beneath the Devon soil.
Then "one for the River" as they waited for the tide to take them down the Tamar and far out to Sea.
The Ship Inn is situated at the very edge of Devon on the Banks of the River Tamar just 4 miles from Tavistock.
Offering a fine selection of local ales & cider from our own brewery and orchards,
many of our ingredients are sourced from our farm
and local suppliers.
We are also serving delicious Sunday Roasts
