We are excited to announce and welcome back to Morwellham Mad Dog Mcrea headlining the evening.
Mad Dog's will delight you with a blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.
TV presenter Mike Harding heard the band sometime in 2011 and got in touch with Mad Dog to ask them to send over CDs from when he played them several times on the BBC and is quoted as saying "one of the most exciting discoveries of the year. The same year Mad Dog released their album The Whirling Dervish, and this won the band Best Album of the Year at the South West Music Awards 2011. The band are prolific song writers with three albums under their belt and many years of performance behind them.
One career highlight for the band was performing The Rocky Road to Dublin with Mick Jagger on tambourine at a charity garden party for The Prince's Trust.
Based in Plymouth the band have a huge local following so we look forward to seeing many of you at the concert.

Evening hog roast and The Ship Inn and our Boathouse bar are open during this event.
No dogs are permitted at this event other than official Service dogs.

£36.00 per person Live music will also be playing on Sunday until 4 pm
Campers can check into the camp site from 11.45 am on Saturday 20th July and enjoy a chilled out musical afternoon on Sunday latest check out 5pm on Sunday 21th July 2024
