Terms & Conditions
Family Information:
Enjoyment for people of all ages is the keynote of Morwellham Quay, and we do not wish to spoil your fun by imposing too many dos and don’ts. However, we ask you to observe the following for your own safety and others around you:
Our outdoor play areas offer lots of fun and excitement, but CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES by parents or guardians.
Please be especially watchful near the quays, river and stream, and do not allow anyone to climb trees or exhibits, or slide down grassy banks.
When near or around water, please be very cautious of the swans. They are wild birds and can sometimes act in a hostile manner when approached, so please KEEP AWAY FROM THE SWANS.
SKATEBOARDS, ROLLERBLADES, BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, CHILDRENS DOLL PRAMS and TRICYCLE BUGGIES are STRICTLY not permitted within the site. We do offer our own pushchairs for your use which can be found at reception. Any of the above can be left at reception during your visit or if you prefer taken back to your car.
Please remember that Paths, Steps and Decking can become slippery when wet or icy, especially when fallen leaves are present in autumn and winter. You may walk on any grassed area, but please take care when walking off the Paths.
Disabled access:
The quay is wheelchair friendly in most areas, but please note that there are some steep slopes, cobbled roads and steps throughout.
We offer the use of free wheelchairs which can be found on Entrance to Reception.
Picnics:
We welcome picnickers, but food bought into the Park may only be consumed in the Picnic Areas provided. (Please ask a member of staff at Reception for the picnic areas) Barbeques are NOT permitted.
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY INSIDE AREAS FOR PICNICS
Customers found consuming their own food and drink outside of the stated picnic areas, will be asked to leave. With the exception of baby bottles and jars of baby food.
Dogs:
Dogs may be bought into the park for a fee of £1.00 per animal (Including poop bags if required) Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and are not allowed in the Chocolate Experience or Play Areas. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time whilst in the venue, including, outside the children’s play areas.
Please avoid letting your dog drink the water from the river or stream. This is due to the naturally occurring blue algae that are harmful to dogs if consumed. Bowls of fresh water can be found within the venue outside the shop and The Ship Inn.
Photography:
We are happy for you to take photographs in the park for personal use. NO COMMERCIAL photography is allowed without permission from the owner (For more information please contact Reception)

Entrance day tickets are non-refundable and are only valid for the date stated on them. Please be aware that not all our events are covered under the entrance day tickets so please check before purchasing, any difference in price will be charged on arrival.
