Village Explorer

Our living history activities are timetabled throughout the day and last approximately 20 minutes each.

• Learn about classwork and punishments in a Victorian school lesson (you must behave - the teacher is strict!).
• Discover the tough working conditions suffered by women and children. Have a go at breaking the rock and find some minerals for yourselves!
• Did you know Queen Victoria loved chocolate? Enjoy the aroma and flavours of chocolate in our Chocolate Experience, where you will make a lolly and learn a brief history of this delicious treat.

On arrival, please check in at The Ship Inn
Parking: We have a large car park. Drive straight through the village and you will come to it at the top.
Visit our shop for a range of gifts, including wrought iron and pottery made on site here at Morwellham.
