Stay in the historic village of Morwellham that provides tent, caravan and campervan pitches, or in our luxury cottage with fantastic views of the village and River Tamar. Morwellham is a world Heritage site and The Eastern Gateway to the Cornwall & West Devon Mining landscape. The Ship Inn is at the heart of the village and is a great place to pop in for a drink and a home cooked sustainably sourced meal.
If you're eyeing a break in this leafy part of Devon, you'll probably be interested in getting out into the surrounding country by bike or on foot. All manner of hikes and two-wheeled jaunts can be organised from here, whether you opt for riverside rambles or the footpaths that crisscross the beautiful countryside of the Tamar Valley.
Camping & Caravan Pitches
We welcome campers, caravan and motorhome owners to our Morwellham and provide hard standings for these. The pitch sizes are 10metre (32.8ft) square. The pitch cost per night is based on up to 4 persons per pitch plus a car. Campers have the option to pitch up on the banks of the River Tamar or in our countryside park at the top of the village. Holiday Cottage
Our luxury cottage sleeps up to 8 with four bedroom and two bathrooms. It is furnished in a contemporary country style private hot-tub. Enjoy views across the Tamar River and relax in the private enclosed garden or take a dip in the private hot tub. The cottage has a wood burner, internet and Sky TV. Towels are included and travel cot and a high chair are also available on request.
