Learning at Morwellham

Here at Morwellham we aim to give students all ages a visit which is both fun and educational.

Our talks and demonstrations are designed to cover aspects of the National Curriculum across a range of subjects.

A visit to us can be fitted in as part of a wider project in school, or as a stand-alone study. If there is a particular topic you would like to cover, or preparatory or follow-up work you would like to discuss, we are happy to help.

Please see below and click on the links to view more details on content and other aspects of the visit.

At the foot of the page there is a click through to our online booking enquiry form to send us your details and we will then be in touch to discuss your specific requirements.

Educational Visits include:

  1. Free preparatory visit for teachers to plan their trip.
  2. Free teaching resources to prepare for the visit and follow-up afterwards.
  3. Personal welcome by our costumed Living History Guide.
  4. Your choice of two activities, led by our costumed Living History Guides, within a four-hour visit. The mine train excursion is included in your visit.
  5. An indoor area in which to eat your lunch and leave your bags.
